Decide what kind of clients you want.
"But I know what kind of clients I want", you might say.
Yes, but have you written it down?
Something powerful happens when you write things down...
If you are in the business of attracting clients but you don't have enough clients, you don't know where to start with getting clients or you feel uncomfortable with the clients you do have, here's a solution:
Decide what kind of clients you want. "But I know what kind of clients I want", you might say. Yes, but have you written it down? Something powerful happens when you write things down... Add Comment _The power of delegating was clear to me when I launched an ongoing support program this week.
"I can't use PayPal", a new client said. "Is there another way I can pay you?" In the past I would have said 'YES!' and then bent over backwards to figure out a way short of driving to their house to do a cash-hand off. Not anymore. _Money helps. It pays rent or mortgages. It buys food. It allows you to go on a retreat that fills your well and raises your awareness and energy. So let's explore where you are with money and your practice and how much you may be - or may not be - letting it flow. :)
Let's start with some questions:
To help shift your thinking here is your assignment in two parts: It's New Year's resolution time!
Do you make them? How have they been going for you? In the New Year it's common practice to make a New Year's resolution. "I'm going to write a novel this year." "I'm going to lose 20 lbs this year." But often resolutions fall short crushing self-esteem and hope in their wake. (In fact, 78% of New Year's resolutions are never achieved. Eep! I know! I looked it up on Google and I was shocked, too!) But there is another way. Don't make resolutions at all. _One of the hardest things to do when you need, want, or are desperate for more clients or spiritual business is to manifest more clients or business. It is literally impossible to shift to a new energy while you are still holding onto the current energy that exists. Pushing is actually holding on. "I hate it here, I'm scared here, I don't like it here" (I'm holding onto here). But how do you let go of the current stuck energy about your spiritual career so you can shift it? Especially when you feel fear or anger about where you are or where you are not. (After all, the bills aren't going to wait, right?!) _Are you worried other people are judging you and your work? Are you stuck not making changes because you worry about what will happen if you do? As you and your practice grow there will always be times when you are doing something different and trying new things. You can't expand without stepping onto new ground or harmonizing with higher energy. If you try to be confident when you don't truly feel it that can feel false and untrue. But if you aren't feeling confident how do you move forward? (Especially when your clients are involved!) Are you afraid to be spiritual or "out" yourself with your career? Or are out there but still holding yourself back dealing with fears, not truly owning the compliments and opportunities that are trying to reach you? If so, this visualization may help you get clear on what you really, truly are meant to do with your life, your purpose and your time here on Earth. If you felt inspired, even divinely inspired, to start your spiritual or conscious career and now it feels like work, then this article is for you. Is a once promising new future filled with light now stressful? Maybe you feel fear around it now. Maybe you feel resentful of the business or money aspects that feel attached to it. Maybe you're just feeling burned out. What happened? And, more importantly, how do you get back that inspired, joyful feeling about your career again? When we want to build, grow or change our spiritual career and we're having trouble doing it we often focus completely on the "business". "How do I get more clients?" "Should I re-do my website?" "Maybe I should get a Facebook page…" But sometimes the reason for the block to your prosperity or growth or receiving clients has nothing to do with your career or your calling. Sometimes it has to do with your heart. Your spiritual heart. The source from which all things come. Do you have anger in your heart around money, wealth or business? You're ready to offer readings or sessions to the public. But how much should you charge? Or maybe you've been offering readings or sessions for a while and something doesn't feel right. The topic of money and how much to charge is an important one. That's why this is a long post. I thought about breaking this post up into smaller parts but I realized that the entire picture will help you gather clarity and empowerment with this topic more easily. So get ready to get a full-circle picture of rates so that you can be complete and empowered as you work with them. This post covers:
